Whoo!

I took some sinus stuff, which for the first time in a long time *totally* wired me... so, yay, I have a lot of stuff to do... but then I started getting sleepy before I even started doing anything, so I had an energy drink... but THEN the sinus stuff *really* kicked in- yaa!

So... all the clean laundry's folded and away, the dishes are done, the refrigerator & freezer have been washed inside and out and old stuff tossed, the upstairs and downstairs have been dusted (including windowsills), the fingerprints are gone from around doorknobs & light switches, and some random shit got put away. Oh, and I made a few phone calls.
I'm pretty sure at this point anything else I started would either annoy the crap out of the neighbors (who probably already thought I was a tweaker even before tonight), or will take too long and I'll get tired halfway through.

So, hey, anyone else awake? <grin>

Someone yesterday was talking to me about some ginormous party someone else is apparently having some time soon, and how they'd invite me but as it is it's an exclusive party (not that he used that exact phrase, but that was the gist of it), and he was barely able to get my ex invited to go with them.

So, in the space of 5 minutes, I was told that:
1) There's a giant party I'd not heard about
2) I'm not invited, because it's exclusive
3) But it's so big they're renting the YWCA and they're worried there's "only room for 70 cars in the parking lot"
4) My ex IS apparently going, with these friends of ours

Um, why couldn't we have left it at #1- me not knowing about it??? Why tell me about it only to tell me I'm the only person in town NOT invited???

But this morning, really- as SOON as I woke up it's like I'd already been in the middle of a train of thought, which was weird anyway...

So, yeah, between that and the weather my mood's not been that hot this morning.

With Tribe down I was checking other stuff, and checked that horoscope- I always read Rob Breszny because he's always so positive... it doesn't matter which one you read, there's always something at least interesting if not useful.

But, I must admit, a lot of the time he really does seem pretty damn timely with what he has to say...
